Our story began in the most modern of ways: through the Hinge dating app. After exchanging a few messages, we decided to take a leap of faith and have a video chat. It didn’t take long for us to feel a spark, and shortly thereafter, we planned our first date.

That first date brought us to Contessa in Boston, a place that felt as magical as the connection we were beginning to build. It was a Wednesday evening, and we were both buzzing with excitement to finally meet after work. The romantic rooftop setting, the warm glow of the city lights at night, and the incredible food and drinks created the perfect backdrop for what would become the start of our love story. We were captivated by each other - talking, laughing, and losing track of time. By the end of the night, it felt like the world had faded away, leaving just the two of us. We both walked away knowing we had found something truly special. Contessa has since become a meaningful place for us, and we now return every year to relive that magical first date.

The very next day, we couldn’t stop thinking about each other and started planning our second date: a day trip to Falmouth in Cape Cod. When Saturday finally arrived, we spent the day filled with adventure, laughter, and new experiences. We visited the Cape Cod Winery, where we shared some lovely drinks and had our first kiss. What started as

a simple outing turned into an over 12-hour journey of connection and joy! To this day, that date is one of the most memorable we’ve had.

At our one-year anniversary dinner at Contessa, Josh told Mandy that he was sure he wanted to marry her. He knew she was the one when they spent time together at the Boston Harbor Hotel for Mandy’s birthday weekend the previous December. Another date that will never be forgotten as a very special moment in time.

We have since continued going on amazing dates, shared in new experiences together as well as built a bond that grows stronger with each passing day. Cape Cod has remained a special place for us ever since that unforgettable second date, which is why we couldn’t imagine a more meaningful place to say “I do.” It is a place that holds a special meaning in both our hearts and that we truly love visiting every time. As we celebrate the next chapter of our love story, we look forward to forever together, building a life full of love, laughter, and endless adventures.
